Teresa Carroll is executive vice president of Kelly Services, a global leader in providing workforce solutions. She is one of two EVPs reporting to George Corona, president and chief executive officer of Kelly.
Teresa's role has both operational and functional responsibility. As president of Global Talent Solutions, she is responsible for growing Kelly's global client portfolio, driving innovative workforce strategies into the market and managing a $2 billion P&L. As general manager of Sales, Marketing and Human Resources, she leads corporate functions to deliver exceptional performance that accelerates Kelly’s business strategy.
Teresa has advanced through a wide breadth of leadership roles during her 25-year Kelly tenure. She has held officer-level positions responsible for marketing, product management, recruiting, engineering, service, solution design, centers of excellence, advisory services, centralized delivery, and outsourcing & consulting. Skilled at both strategy and execution, Teresa has played a pivotal role in developing and deploying some of the company's highest performing products and solutions, resulting in consistent double-digit growth for the operating divisions she has led.
She helped pioneer the integrated Talent Supply Chain Management (TSCM) model and took it to market with Fortune 100 clients. TSCM now serves as a cornerstone of many global organizations' workforce strategies.
Teresa is a collaborative and growth-minded leader within the human capital industry whose strategic recommendations help clients ditch the script on old ways of thinking about workforce planning to embrace the value of all work styles and prepare for what's next in the future of work. She leverages a deep understanding of workforce demographics, psychographics, and technologies with a keen ability to identify future trends and their practical implications. An engaging and in-demand speaker and strategic partner, Teresa also educates industry peers and Fortune 500 leaders on the future of work and how they can adapt to gain a competitive edge on an enterprise scale. She frequently explores the topics of talent supply and demand, the gig economy, technology's ongoing disruption of work and the role of women in leadership.
Teresa's contributions have yielded numerous awards. She has been named to Staffing Industry Analysts' Staffing 100 list for six consecutive years (2014-2019); Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list for three consecutive years (2015-2017); and to the Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list in 2018. Staffing Industry Analysts recognizes the industry's most influential leaders across the workforce solutions ecosystem. Under her leadership, in 2017 KellyOCG was named to the Everest Group BPS Top 50, a global list of the largest third-party providers based on BPS revenues.
Prior to joining Kelly, Teresa was an industrial engineer at General Motors. She earned a MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from GMI (now Kettering University). She currently serves on the board of Bridgepoint Education, Inc., a public higher education company focused on raising academic achievement – a key issue for talent preparedness and labor market health. She also serves on the Advisory Board for The Conference Board's Labor Markets Center, which provides labor market analysis to inform and underpin companies' workforce decisions.
