A security and event management company was responsible for meeting the event staffing demands of a major professional sports league. The league was hosting a three-day, highly televised event in downtown Detroit. The event management company needed the proper staff and solutions in place to ensure that the event would be an efficient, safe, and organized experience for all attendees. This would require hiring reliable, skilled talent who would attend a training day and each subsequent day of the event—all within budget.
As an expert in staffing and workforce solutions, Kelly delivered the talent and solutions needed to ensure that the event would be a success. Under our partnership, we delivered 130 trained janitorial employees to work the three-day event. Additionally, our own Kelly representatives worked on-site to expertly manage the employees’ check-ins and -outs, provide process flow recommendations for sign-ins, track all attendance, and provide in-person meetings and updates among the team.
The event was a resounding success for the city and the event management company, while staying within the parameters of their budget. We delivered an average of 104% of the requested daily employees throughout the event, with 72 of our 100+ employees returning for each day of the event. Additionally, the event management company was highly impressed with the skills and efficiency of our on-site management at the event.
