How it began
Noelle Drumm had just left a position that didn’t match her goals, intending to return to a career she loved in the insurance industry. She was trying to figure out how to move her career forward when she received an email from a Kelly recruiter. The recruiter explained how staffing companies place people in job assignments, and asked Noelle if she would be interested in a job at a local employer, one of the nation’s largest health benefits companies. She couldn’t refuse an opportunity for the perfect job, so she agreed to interview.
When Noelle arrived for the interview, she discovered that eight people were interviewing for the same position. She felt the pressure of the interview, but that she answered some questions well, while others could have been better. Noelle thought about her interview all weekend, until she received a call from her recruiter on Monday morning. The recruiter asked Noelle about the interview, and finally told her she had received the assignment. She was overjoyed and “literally screamed with delight!”
Since her start at the company as a Medical Management Specialist, Noelle has impacted the lives of many people. The company truly lives up to its mission statement: to improve the lives of the people they serve and the health of their communities. Noelle worked on a project from beginning to implementation that provides a home health nurse visit to patients after a stay in the hospital. After the project was established, she expanded her reach and now handles acute care cases.
Noelle knows that her work is part of a very important process. When asked what she would say to a friend if recommending Kelly, she replied, “I work for Kelly Services because many people aspire to change the world and as a Kelly employee, I am making my own mark, by making a difference through providing healthcare to those who need it.”
Noelle has enjoyed her experience working with Kelly from the very beginning. She has been impressed with the perks offered, the Kelly Learning Center—which has offered her training to promote growth in her career—regular surveys asking how Kelly can improve her personal experience, and the monthly newsletter delivered to her inbox. She looks forward to every day, saying, “I wake up in the morning and look forward to going to work at the perfect assignment as a Kelly employee.”
