IT employee cloistered in the basement somewhere while working online is something
of a comedy skit from the 90’s. But let’s face it, even though these
exaggerations are far from reality, the truth is that IT workers are often
far more worried about their tech prowess than any other skill set.
It’s ok, it
should be that way. But, that doesn’t mean you should stop growing your interpersonal soft skills either. lt's just as important for you to be approachable and relatable as it is for you to be knowledgeable.
