To recognize the significant contribution, hard work, and dedication of our nation's 2.7 million registered nurses - Kelly is pleased to honor Julie Bright-Allott, RN, BSN, as our Nurse of the Year in conjunction with National Nurses Week. Ms. Bright-Allott was selected from more than 3,000 Kelly nurses as this year's national winner for her professionalism, competence, and strong work ethic.
A nurse for 20 years, Ms. Bright-Allott has worked for Kelly for the past 6 months in an occupational health setting. She brings a wealth of experience with her as an occupational health nurse. Throughout her career, she has worked in women’s health and is currently a student in a graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Program and expects to graduate in May 2015. Ms. Bright-Allott states, “Working for Kelly has allowed me the ability to maintain a financial income and pursue a rigorous graduate academic nursing program. I have the best of both worlds! Working at Kelly has allowed me the flexibility that I would otherwise, be unable to achieve.”
Based on performance feedback from Kelly customers, the National Nurse of the Year award was developed to recognize Kelly nurses for their outstanding work in the healthcare industry.
“Julie clearly possesses commitment to the field of nursing. She is a dedicated student and has consistently provided excellent care to her patients. Choosing to continue her education in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner will provide her with clinical autonomy to provide high-quality, cost-effective, and individualized care for patients, their families, and their communities. She is a dedicated nurse and will make a significant contribution to the field. We are excited to have her as a member of the Kelly team and to honor her as our Nurse of the Year,” said Grace Paranzino, Kelly Chief Clinical Officer, Healthcare Product, Centers of Excellence.
